How earnings are calculated
For every 1,000 download views your file gets, here's what happens to the gross ad revenue:
- Ad network keeps 30% of the gross CPM for serving the ad.
- ExaStash platform keeps 10% of the remainder to cover hosting, bandwidth, fraud-prevention, and payment-processing.
- Youreceive your tier's earnings share of what's left:
Free: 70%, Premium: 80%, Pro: 85%, Creator: 95%.
Worked example — Creator tier, US viewer: gross $8.00 → after ad-network 30% cut → $5.60 → after platform 10% cut → $5.04 → Creator-tier 95% share → $4.79 to you per 1,000 views.
Earnings by viewer country
Different viewer countries pay different gross CPM rates. Below is what a Creator-tier uploader nets per 1,000 views from each region after all cuts:
